"Sana'a - Saba:
The Parliament on Friday congratulated the historic victory of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, which led to the cessation of the brutal aggression and unjust siege on the Gaza Strip.
The Parliament issued a statement, condemning the continuation of Israeli crimes even after the agreement, highlighting the targeting of residential homes, resulting in further Palestinian casualties.
The statement emphasized that despite more than 15 months of aggression, the steadfastness and resilience of the Palestinian resistance thwarted all efforts by the Zionist, American, and British forces, forcing the occupation and its allies to agree to the terms proposed by the resistance.
It also pointed out that the occupation’s intransigence had sought to cover up its losses with prolonged genocide against the Gaza population.
The statement praised the Palestinian people’s unwavering will, which led to a historic victory, marking an end to the war of extermination by Zionist war criminals, supported by the U.S., Britain, and Western powers.
The victory was seen as a testament to the valiant resistance and the global solidarity for Palestine, especially from countries supporting “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.
The statement further commended the sacrifices of the Palestinian people and their brave resistance fighters, particularly since October 7, 2023.
It also highlighted the leadership of martyrs like Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, whose sacrifices inspired the continued struggle for victory.
The statement noted the resilience of the resistance, which led to the acceptance of the agreement to end the aggression, break the siege, and facilitate prisoner exchanges.
It recognized the support fronts, particularly Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq, which played a key role in targeting and destroying enemy positions in occupied territories. These efforts forced the enemy to seek outside help and launch an aggression against Yemen.
The statement reiterated Yemen’s continued steadfastness in supporting Palestine, vowing to maintain its efforts until the legitimate rights of both the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples are achieved."
