His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that agreements do not apply retroactively and that the “blockade for blockade” equation will continue until it achieves its objectives.
President Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemen News Agency (SABA): “Whoever chooses to join the Saudi aggressor in its aggression and blockade, which have continued for 12 years, is an aggressor, even if such participation is presented under appealing labels.”
He added: “Whoever participates alongside the Saudi aggressor in its aggression and blockade against our country is an aggressor, and Yemeni law has defined how hostile states are to be dealt with.”
